Polar Bear 5K & Poker Run
The Ste. Genevieve County Community Center will host the 8th Annual Polar Bear 5K Poker Run. On-site shower facilities will be available to all participants. Register by January 10 to guarantee a long sleeve T-shirt. The run will take place on February 11, 2010. 1 mile Fun Run starts at 9:00 am. 5K run/walk starts at 9:30 am. Cost is $20 if received before January 10th and $25 after January 10th, including race day. Download the race flyer here.
Survey
We are currently conducting a survey to see the present and future needs of our customers. Please click on the link to be directed to the survey. We will be giving away 4 $25 gift cards if we receive 100 completed surveys by the deadline. If we get 500 completed surveys before the deadline, a grand prize will be given away. Deadline to finish survey is February 15th.
We currently have about 128 surveys filled out, over 1/4 of the way to 500.
School's Out Camp
School's out for the day & you have nothing to do? Hang out at the Community Center for a day of games, crafts, swimming and much more. The program gives parents a chance to give their children supervised activities throughout their day rather than lounging around. Kids need to bring a sack lunch, bathing suit and a towel, and they're ready for hours of excitement with out camp counselors.

Start Smart Baseball
Start Smart Baseball is a developmentally appropriate introductory baseball program for children ages 3 - 5 years old. The old program prepares children for organized tee ball, baseball & softball in a fun non-threatening environment. Each participant will receive a bat, two balls and a glove. Parent(s) must participate in the program. Registration end February 13th. Limit of 10 children.
